So the UN had a chance and we got UNSCR1244, which reaffirmed the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states so independence was out of the question.

Then the West went out on its own and caused more problems and division within itself which gave Serbia a chance to strengthen ties with Russia and China, who are now protecting us.

So after everything we went through, this idea of recognition is simply not going to happen. I like this idea from Dacic. It is realistically defining who controls what and agreeing to that. Like he said, it is not partition.

This reality of more than autonomy, less than independence should be put to paper and let everyone get on with their business. It will likely work out fine for everyone involved. It's true, we don't want Albanians in our system but we are not prepared to lose Kosovo either.

No one is going to war over a UN controlled territory, that will soon be its own independent country. Personally, I believe Kosovo-Metohija should be a shared territory between Serbia and Albania. The North, Serb and Gorani enclaves (Strpce, Gracanica, Gora etc.) in the south remain governed by Serbia. The monasteries of Decani, Pec and Prizren recieve Vatican-styled extra territorial status guaranteed by the UN with thr option of settlements in the land around the monasteries especially the acres of land owned by the Pec monastery.

The rest, vast majority of the territory can be governed by Albania. Then Serbia should move aggressively on uniting with RS and Montenegro.

The rest of Kosovo-Metohija and Krajina must never be forgotten. Albanians and Croats are leaving these lands theyve removed us from. But it will take a lifetime of things going good from right now to recoup those territoroies. Serious nations have long term projects like the Jews and Israel.

Serbia know very well that if Albania ask in all the legal ways to unify with Kosovo - Serbia can't do too much then.
So she know that she has not enough time and she is trying to get time and profit as much as she can. That's all!
In my personal opinion Kosovo will fail in every intention to be part of Interpol, Unesco etc..etc.. because the plan already is made.
Kosovo will be unify with Albania for this Serbia has changed its attitude now.. She know that she can't stop it with "force", so she is trying to prepare the ‘terrain’..

The only positive thing that is coming out of this internal dialogue is that now the question of accepting Kosovo's independence is being openly discussed within Serbian society. These ethnic delineation ideas on the other hand will only bring more conflict, rather than solve anything.
If we're going to delineate Serbian communities in Kosovo, we would also have to delineate Presheva Valley, Sanxhak and all Albanian communities throughout Serbia.
If we're going to give special status to the so-called "Serbian" churches (a large part of which were taken earlier from Albanian Christians), then we will have to give special status to all Illyrian settlements and other historical sites throughout Serbia as part of Albanian heritage and place them under the management of Albanian & Kosovo governments.

So after everything we went through, this idea of recognition is simply not going to happen. I like this idea from Dacic. It is realistically defining who controls what and agreeing to that. Like he said, it is not partition.

This reality of more than autonomy, less than independence should be put to paper and let everyone get on with their business. It will likely work out fine for everyone involved. It's true, we don't want Albanians in our system but we are not prepared to lose Kosovo either.

Personally, I believe Kosovo-Metohija should be a shared territory between Serbia and Albania. The North, Serb and Gorani enclaves (Strpce, Gracanica, Gora etc.) in the south remain governed by Serbia. The monasteries of Decani, Pec and Prizren recieve Vatican-styled extra territorial status guaranteed by the UN with thr option of settlements in the land around the monasteries especially the acres of land owned by the Pec monastery.

The rest, vast majority of the territory can be governed by Albania. Then Serbia should move aggressively on uniting with RS and Montenegro.

The rest of Kosovo-Metohija and Krajina must never be forgotten. Albanians and Croats are leaving these lands theyve removed us from. But it will take a lifetime of things going good from right now to recoup those territoroies. Serious nations have long term projects like the Jews and Israel.

The only positive thing that is coming out of this internal dialogue is that now the question of accepting Kosovo's independence is being openly discussed within Serbian society. These ethnic delineation ideas on the other hand will only bring more conflict, rather than solve anything.
If we're going to delineate Serbian communities in Kosovo, we would also have to delineate Presheva Valley, Sanxhak and all Albanian communities throughout Serbia.
If we're going to give special status to the so-called "Serbian" churches (a large part of which were taken earlier from Albanian Christians), then we will have to give special status to all Illyrian settlements and other historical sites throughout Serbia as part of Albanian heritage and place them under the management of Albanian & Kosovo governments.
