Yawn. Same sh*t, different day. the EU just enjoys humiliating Serbia. It makes them feel important and they can say to everyone how desperate we are to join and continue to live in denial that the Eu is anything but paradise.
Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia etc. All far less qualified, were rushed in. Serbia would cost the EU little to nothing to assimilate. They are just jerking our chain.
Let's carry on with this charade if it means we can borrow more cheaply and attract more fdi, but let's not believe for a moment we are being treated with anything other than contempt.
