About time Istria became its own republic. Dalmatia should do the same.

The only part of the balkans that belong to illyrians is in my backyard where my outhouse is. Everybody knows this fact so lets not beat around the bush.

Yeah it belongs to the Illyrians and their descendants, as does the rest of the western Balkans, Istria is named after the Illyrian Histri tribe. No Slavs or Italians can lay claim to it, this is not a post to stir trouble but one to explain the origins of the inhabitants and why only a certain group can truly claim it. However that group of people are not very liked by their Slavic and Italic counterparts and we all know who they are let's no beat around the bush. The world has changed and I think the area should be shared between, Croatia, Slovenia and Italy as its better to cooperate than lose our cool.

I'm sorry you feel that way, because you should know that yugoslavs are far from pure. Illyrian blood runs through you too, your ancestors intermarried with the natives and produced the modern people that we have today. Making comments like that demonstrates your lack of maturity and the need to do some growing up. Maybe in the future, you'll receive a history lesson not sanctioned by the Serbian orthodox church but one based on facts and reality.
