I do not believe he is dead. There is no proof - and the claim comes from a fellow ISIS fighter who is probably lying.
There have been several reports that he was killed, but no body, no pictures, no funeral, nothing...
The first report came after his decapitation video and it seemed it was done to calm down the furor. After new videos or reports of him fighting came up later, there would shortly thereafter be reports of him being killed.
The most recent reports had him returned to Kosovo and living protected by the U.S. military.
He also tended to fight in the other terrorist groups and not ISIS. Most Albanians were in al-Nusra or the Turkish-backed terrorist units.
The claim of him being killed is just so he can now live a regular life. His family will publicly claim he was killed while knowing otherwise.
