More and more Serbs are becoming anti EU so you have to have that flying in their face like some unattainable and very much desired object to keep them in that EU trance.

That's Greece's fault, not EU's! But the EU did bail Greece out since Greece's orthodox brothers showed Greece the door...
The EU dream for some nations have turned out to be a nightmare. Britain saw little benefit of being part of the EU. The EU dream was in fact a nightmare for Britain, the majority of people in Britain wanted to wake up from it, and indeed they did with a referendum...
