Vucic "wants to be remembered like Schroeder in Germany"

Schroeder: One of the worst post-war chancellors Germany has known. A champagne socialist who only served his own interests and did more harm for the country than good. Vucic has picked a good choice - I sincerely hope that he will be remembered like this. He does not deserve better.

I really don't think Vucic knows how Schroeder is remembered in Germany for him to be making that statement.

Schroeder today is "owned" by Putin. For few Russian roubles he sold his behind to them.

He will be remembered as Seselj's whipping boy !

Well, Schroeder is remembered as a reformer, who made strong reforms regarding the labor and social regulations. Thus he's criticised by members of his own party and unions, but it was his chancellorship and actions that brought Germany back to where it is now. Merkel only had to do what she can best - do nothing and earn the credits of Schroeders "Agenda 2010".

Well, and yes, after his chancellorship, he took the job at Putin's Gazprom - which is another thing he's criticised for.
