Mayor of the Croatian town of Pozega Vedran Neferovic (HDZ) on Friday physically assaulted a reporter working for a local website.

No surprise here.The party to which he is affiliated basks in the glory of violence against unarmed civilians. They've been doing it since his forebears started the practice in 1941.Looks like the proverbial leopard can't change his spots!!

A representative of the Croatian state assaults an innocent and unarmed individual ?!?
How so un-Croat-esque! How so bizarrely out of local character! Totally unheard of in the "Westernmost Balkans"!
Might the minor tidbit that the reporter carries a distinctly Serbian first and last name have something to do with the act of unprecedented mayoral aggression?
