Of course, there is no "error" in Vulins action leaving the ceremony. The error is in what he said since he insulted all Serbs that gave their lives in the fight against the Nazis and their allies during WW2.

The Serbian minister explained his walkout this way: ".... as if it had been a member of the (WW2) anti-Hitler coalition ..... an insult to international law itself."

The ministers logic does not work as 90% of the people living today also did not exist during the anti-Hitler war. Those 90% still honor the victims of the war.

Icj1, its funny to see someone as you to defend Serbs who were killed in ww2 from Serbs. Isnt that an irony? Are you something as split personality? Many Serbs were killed in Kosovo and Metohija by Albanian balisti-nazis. You have cleansed 100 000 and killed 10 000 Serbs from province that was in that time part of fascist Albania. You speak about Yugoslavia? You have destroyed it. Only when you need it you speak about Yugoslavia. So low, so you!

Well, Serbia was also an "unrecognized, non-existent state" during WW2. So it looks like Vulin is saying that standing under the flag of Serbia "would represent an insult to all victims, an insult to the memory of the Second World War, an insult to international law itself"!

It's very bizarre and traitorous for Vulin to say that since both Kosovo and Serbia were part of Yugoslavia, and Yugoslavia was part of the anti-Hitler coalition during WW2.

Vulin not being aware that Yugoslavia was part of the anti-Hitler coalition during WW2 is really an insult to all Serb and other Yugoslav people who gave their lives in the fight against the Nazis and their allies.

Eventually, the Ruskies... I mean, the Serbs will take control and then God knows who else! You still cannot get it thru your skull...without a "agreement" between Pristina and Beograd, the guns will continue being fired, killing and maiming! Evil paramilitary men for ALL sides will ALWAYS take the opportunity to make quick fast bucks... our USA military, constitutionally formed for home defense, has now become history's biggest and most lethal mercenary tool ever... you didn't think this is all free, did you? I would just as well blame the organizers for using this "event" to allow the flag of "Kosovo" knowing well the reaction of Srbija!
(Watcher, 8 May 2017 18:44)

Sorry, but you are not making any sense. The organizers and many other participating countries recognize Kosovo as a country. So who is Serbia to impose its will on the organizers and other countries?! Serbia is free not to recognize Kosovo and is certainly free not to attend any event where Kosovo's flag is present. But Serbia is not the master of the universe to impose its will on what other countries should do.

Watcher,
Perhaps Serbia should inquire whether the Kosova flag will be on display at these functions, if it is, Serbia can stay home and save the cost of air fare. The only problem is Serbia may end up not attending any of these functions and I don't think Serbia can bare the rejection. Is it that no one seems to care what Serbia thinks. Imagine the humiliation Serbia will suffer if she ever manages to get in NATO or the EU.

When Croatia adopted the same coat of arms, Serbs were insulted because it brought back memories of Jasenovac and their persecution during WWII from the Independent State of Croatia. Fair enough!
Yet, when themselves declared independence from Yugoslavia in 2006 adopted the same coat of arms under which Belgrade was declared to be the first capital in Europe to be Judenfrei. Flaying Serbia's flag with the same coat of arms as the collaborators who sent the Belgrade Jews to Matthausen is an insult to victims and their memory.

"Kosovo is unrecognized, the talks with Pristina's representatives are taking place in line with (UNSC) Resolution 1244. It is said very clearly, the territory of Kosovo and Metohija is a territory under UN's temporary administration, in line with Resolution 1244 - it is not a state,"

Absolutely right. 1244 is valid but Albanians try to neglect things that doesnt suit them. No one alive today will ever see Kosovo as a real state. It will always be a disputed Serbian province according to 1244. Give me one country except Albania where K Albanians are respected, liked or even welcome. Just one.

The only bizarre thing are your conclusions. They must sound really good in your head, but you seriously need help urgently.

But Serbia is not the master of the universe to impose its will on what other countries should do.

but I don't see the "error" in Vulins action.

Of course, there is no "error" in Vulins action leaving the ceremony. The error is in what he said since he insulted all Serbs that gave their lives in the fight against the Nazis and their allies during WW2.

Serbia rehabilitating WWII chetnik leader Draza Mihailovic was what? When will Serbs learn once and for all? Crimes they committed less than two decades ago they always forget.

Funny, your overlords the Americans didn't seem to have any problem with Draza hence the medal.
How many Albanians received a medal from any ally in WW2?

Respecting those (regardless of ethnicity) who gave their lives in the fight against the Nazis is an irony?!!! Dear, I understand that for you and Vulin insulting the Serbs who were killed in WW2 is normal, but that does not mean that everybody is like you and Vulin!
