Pristina media: Kosovo has not consolidated its "statehood"

Aleksandar Vucic has confirmed his "huge popularity," Pristina-based Albanian language media are reporting in the wake of the Serbian presidential elections.

@LOL,

ROK isn't completely sovereign and neither is ROS. The point is about mutual respect and reciprocity.

^^^^
I know this is a difficult for you Albanians and Serbs to grasp considering how you treat 'magjup' (gypsys).

Hmmm I see ask Vucic or Nicolic always they need to ask for permission to go to R. Of Kosova.

Um, Albanians who live in Presevo, Bujanovac, Nis, etc., live in Serbia. Not "Kosovo". Serbs in Kosovo live, as the arrangement goes, still in Serbia and have constitutional rights to vote in Serbian elections, just like Albanians from Kosovo who live abroad can vote in Kosovo elections. In your scenario, you're complaining that an Albanian from Kosovo who identifies as a citizen of Kosovo but who lives in central Serbia (is such a thing possible?) can't vote in Kosovo elections from central Serbia, yes? Last I checked, Serbia doesn't recognize Kosovo so that's why no polling stations exist. Albanians living in central Serbia vote for their own representatives in Serbian elections.

That, my friend, is the true logic.
(LOL, 4 April 2017 00:38)

Glaring inconsistencies! There is no such arrangement that permits Serbs living in Kosova to vote there as if they lived in Serbia. If you want to vote in Serbia, you must cross the border to Serbia to be able to vote in Serbia. There are many Albanians living in Belgrade, but they can not vote in Kosova without physically being there. Serbia does not permit polling stations for Kosovar Albanian citizens to be set up in Serbia. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Just as there are Albanians who will never recognize Vucic as their new president, there are Serbs who will never recognize Thaci as theirs. This puts everyone in a bind. If Kosovo is truly a free country, then who cares if its citizens vote in another country's elections? If they hold two passports (one Kosovo and one Serbia) then they should be able to vote in the elections of their countries. I am pro-independent Kosovo. I wish there could be a pathway forward for Kosovo and Serbia to join the EU together. If that was an agreement I believe it could work.

The issue isn't whether Kosovo is a country or not; it's more, "well they can't hold elections here if our people can't vote in our elections from belgrade, Bujanoc, Nis, etc).

Someone ought to remind these bumpkins down in Pristina that holding elections for citizens of another "country" is a sign you're living in a different one. At least that's what they're constantly trying to tell themselves, yes?

These elections were held AGAINST the will of the people and government. The decision came down to the wire as different international partner's were influencing the government.

There was no war in Vojvodina yet you Serbs expelled thousands of Croats. By the way what do you think we should have done to those Serbs who supported Sloba and killed their Albanian neighbors? Ask them what kind of coffee they want. Wherever Sloba and his henchmen "defended" Serbs, there few Serbs or no Serbs left. Wonder why?!

Don't forget that even dead people voted for Thaci in the last election. You have to be one popular mother f...er for dead people to rise from the dead and vote for you.

Avni

To you all serbs are warcriminals even though most of us hated Slobo. A dictator is a dictator. We could do as much about Milo as you could do about Enver Hoxha. However, albanians, croats and bosnjaks need to refere to serbs as Miloseviclovers to justify ttheir hatered for us. If there is no bad guy its difficult to get away with murder and stealing someones territory.

The Kosovarian way of 'consolidating its statehood' is to expel all left minorities - then 'Kosovo election' will be the only ones held, and Thaci can be reelected as the the great Fuhrer.. eh Kosovo president with the magnificent number of 115% of the eligible voters.

LOL

pre 7 godina

By that logic, the United States, Montenegro, Austria, Canada, Germany, and Great Britian have not "consolidated their statehood" since they allowed elections for another country to take place on their soil. Someone ought to remind these bumpkins down in Pristina that holding elections for citizens of another "country" is a sign you're living in a different one. At least that's what they're constantly trying to tell themselves, yes?
