So Slavs consult with their own country, so Do Croats in Bosnia.

Whats wrong to meet in Tirana why its ok for Dodik or other parties to meet in Beograd but Albanians not to meet in Tirana how you justify this?

Macedonia can not exist without Albanians living in Macedonia. It can only be like Switzerland with equal rights for all its citizens or devided in ethnic lines. Albanians wherever their live are in their lands.

There certainly is a blackmail element to the platform as it is win-win for Albanians. If accepted, they will form a government and their platform will be implemented. If rejected, they can play the ethnic card, and in any new elections they will regain votes that they lost to SDSM.
Regardless of the tactics of all parties, DUI/SDSM have the right to try form a government.
If the platform is against the constitution, it is up to a court to decide, not Ivanov. He has completely ignored the abuses of the last government, now he claims to be an expert on the constitution.
He claims that the Tirana platform requires changes to the constitution. I am not fully aware of the laws in Macedonia but surely a public referendum is required for changes to the constitution, which would put the decision in the hands of the citizens? With 25% of the population, the right to have Albanian as an official language is not unreasonable.


VRMO were ok with the language element of the Tirana platform, just not the part about investigation of corruption.
The corruption of the VRMO has done more damage to the country that any Tirana platform.
In saying all of that, the DUI has been part of the corruption of the previous government and I have no doubt that the SDSM is just as bad.
The nepotism and looting of the state in Macedonia makes the current Serbian government look like amateurs, but the fact is that the DUI and the VMRO would let the country burn rather than hand over power.

also..about the platform being developed in Albania, like it or not, most ethnic minorities have a "sponsor" country that both helps them and uses them for political purposes, especially in crisis times. Serbia acts as a sponsor for Serbs in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. Russia is a sponsor for ethnic Russians in Ukraine. Turkey for ethnic Turks in various countries.

Skopje is screwed.

That is my thinking too, such strong opposition from Ivanov can only be explained with fear. I would bet my money on him that he has a lot to lose, maybe even risks going to jail if he lets go.

Serbs in Kosovo, why does it bother you that they spoke in Tirana all they are asking to have their language be official language how is this damaging anyone?

Need to coexist, lets learn a bit from Swiss. Look same issue is in Lithuania where Russians can not have theire rights and make 20%.
