SO HOW THE HELL can the Ustase pay when they were killed by your kind at Blieburg. The Serbs are lazy... How can an army like the Serb Krajina Army be defeated in only 4 days. Not only have the Serbs no heart they are lazy. No more YU no more cash from Croatia and Slovenia. Get a job you lazy slobs.
(Clone, 15 March 2017 11:30)

Thanks for continuing to prove my point about your character. First, the crimes committed by CROATIA were committed in CROATIA by the CROATIAN government. By the way, the CROATIAN government continues to use the Ustasha symbol today with that checkerboard on pretty much everything they have. Even their government figures continue to praise their Ustasha past. The links between the present government and the past are as clear as the Serbian language signs they continue to destroy across the country. So, the key Ustasha figures may be dead, but the legacy clearly continues.
Now, with respect to Serbs being lazy, clearly you have not met the Serbs I have. Plus, I don't even know what kind of work you do, or if you even work at all. My mother was Serb, and all of her family had really good jobs. In fact, my job is pretty darn good too. So, once again, painting all people lazy makes you look like an idiot. Perhaps you are one of these Ustasha yourself??? You sure do sound like one. Painting people negatively is a way to dismiss and murder them. By the way, the reason the Serbs were kicked off of THEIR property in Krajina was because of the US's help.

Dear Mr. Ari Gold,

May I respectfully request that you refrain from insulting savage Neanderthals.

Savage Neanderthals do not associate an entire group with a neurological disorder. icj1's theories of ethnicity and neurological pathologies mimic the warped mind of Josef Mengele: savage Neanderthals do not spew such idiocies. Savage Neanderthals do not consider GDP terminology as "a weird thing". icj1, the CB of B92, is an intolerant and idiotic bigot who has consistently demonstrated stupidity far below the intelligence of a "savage Neanderthal".

So when when mentioning Yugoslavia signing the non-aggression pact with Nazi Germany do you fail to mention that mere hours later, that government was overthrown by the Serbian people and torn up.
(Ari Gold, 14 March 2017 20:43)

Hindsight is 20/20 but everyone in Beograd was cheering when General Simovic led the coup de etat of Prince Paul who abdicated to England and was under house arrest by the UK. The Serbian Government in 2012 have finally allowed Prince Paul to be buried in his rightful burial place in St. George church in Oplenac. The agreement with Germany would have maintained neutrality that would have protected Yugoslavia. Churchill betrayed King Peter II in favor of Marshal Tito at the expense of millions of Yugoslav lives. Great book was written on this subject by Neil Balfour https://www.amazon.co.uk/Paul-Yugoslavia-Neil-Balfour/dp/0241103924

From icj (the Serb-hater): "And Yugoslavia signing the tripartite pact with the Nazis also comes to mind!"

As Ari asked you icj, why didn't you mention the fact that the Serbian people rose up 2 days after the pact was signed and executed a coup to overthrow the gov't. and fight the Nazis against insurmountable odds.

The reason icj doesn't answer this question (one I've of him/her many times) is that it contradicts his/her narrative of Serbs. icj has never let facts get in the way of his/her hatred of the Serbs. icj is well-versed in telling half of the story in an effort to mislead the unknowing reader. How very shameful! Once again I ask icj, how many of your relatives were Ustasha in WWII? Quite a few Ustasha fled to Australia and brainwashed their kids and grandkids like you into hating Serbs. Clone, there are a number of problems with your posting, but I'll focus on the one I quoted above; "Serbs are lazy". This is blatant bias. Imagine painting a whole people as lazy. What kind of person are you? I can't speak of your "kind" because I haven't met each individual, but as far as you are concerned and based on the evidence you provided (your statement), you are a true moron. Now, with respect to Srebrenica, it appears that the key figures are in prison. So, not sure how they can pay the victims. Serbia was not the owner the Republica Srpska. Hey, at least B92 allows you to post here; freedom of speech. It also allows you to make a complete fool of yourself :-)

This lawsuit, Lalic v, Croatia was filed without consent of the plaintiffs, in addition two or three of the so called plaintiffs listed have been dead for years. I find it odd the media reports on this hoax lawsuit without verifying the facts. I have spoken with two of the plaintiffs who are my clients and they had no idea their identities had been stolen and used to file a lawsuit in Chicago. This sort of lawyering is disrespectful to the victims of the Ustasha.

You know, whenever the topic of WWII is raised on here I am one of the first people to remind everyone that Albania was a refugee for Jews fleeing Nazi persecution during WWII. I differentiate the fact that while Kosovo Albanians did form SS Skenderbeg, Albania itself did not collaborate.

So when when mentioning Yugoslavia signing the non-aggression pact with Nazi Germany do you fail to mention that mere hours later, that government was overthrown by the Serbian people and torn up. Literally, the pact did not last more than a few days. So you remember the pact, but forget that not only did Serbs tear it up, but Belgrade was bombed into the ground because of it! Why do you fail to mention that Serbs formed the majority of not one, but two anti-fascist resistance groups? Why do you fail to mention that more Serbs died in the ex-YU during WWII because of Nazi resistance than any other nation?

The reason is because you have hate in your heart. I don't have hate towards Albanians as a people, but you obsessively hate Serbs as you live on B92 and express it everyday. The only difference is you are slightly more educated than your savage neaderthal shiptar nationalist cousins who also live on here.

And Yugoslavia signing the tripartite pact with the Nazis also comes to mind!

In the case of Albania, Albania was under occupation by Italy and it was the puppet government that declared war against the United States in 1941. But Yugoslavia was not occupied and had a real government (not a puppet one) when it signed the tripartite pact with the Nazis.
(icj1, 14 March 2017 15:36)

You should tell the whole story genius; the pact signed by Prince Paul of Yugoslavia was a non-aggression pact which was eventually over thrown in a coup de etat by led by the military with the help of Winston Churchill. The agreement was non-military.

In contrast, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Albania and Bulgaria were part of the Axis allies and the Nazi pact and sent troops in along with the Germans to Russia and Europe. Yugoslavia was invaded by Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary and Albania. Need I remind you that the Albanians attacked Greece along with Italy and got soundly trounced. Throughout it's history, Albania has proven to be a useless militarily for any Country.

icj1

In fact, Albania should look at its history of declaring war against the United States of America in 1941 just like the Croatian Ustasha and other Nazi ally countries in the Balkans and Central Europe, Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania come to mind.

Getting rid of Oric’s garbage in Srebrenica was service to humanity, but if the Bosniaks feel aggrieved they should launch a legal case for these deaths.
If Serbs lived off the proceeds from Croatia why don’t the Croats live well now? Surely the claim that Croatia was rich it kept Yugoslavia afloat would stand up today? However, every month 10,000 people leave wealthy Croatia to look for work and a better life elsewhere in Europe and the world. I was in Slovenia and they do not like Croats at all. Today Slovenes regret leaving Yugoslavia because they had a better standard of living before.
The problem with people like you is you believe your Croat BS too much.

sj : It's more about showing the world how the Croatians behaved during WW2.

Strange as you are my friend ! Croats behaved the same way as 90% of the Europeans. If they had no attrocities in Holland or Spain did not make them good guys. They simply had no Serbs or Russians by their sides. So they sent their divisions and armies to fight us. We fought alone for the 3 long years before the D-Day. Then when the outcome was clear some episodical fragmentary resistance groups appeared in Europe. Many of them made by the USSR and Britain. So outside their attrocities against the Serbs the ustashas were common Europeans. Pavelic obeyed Hitler the way the rest were doing. We destroyed Europe and that's why their grandsons still hate us.

@raisin

Your right no crime should ever be forgotten, just like the one where Serbs slaughtered 8,000 boys and men in Srebrenica in 24 hour period. The victims families continue to suffer.. Serbia's offer of compensation= Zero. The Serbian lawsuit itself is totally incorrect. Croatia is not the successor of the NDH but SR Croatia which was part of YU. A similar lawsuit was filed against treasure stored at the Vatican by the Ustase. The Serbs lost that case and this one will also be thrown out. During YU there were no need for lawsuits because the Serbs lived comfortably off the proceeds from Croatia and Slovenia. Now that these countries are independent as well as Montenegro, Serbia being a landlocked country is struggling financially to keep up with the pace. Serbs are lazy and now need to actually work for a living which they never have and won't do. Next best thing is to bring on a frithalous lawsuit that has no bearing.

sj

pre 7 godina

I doubt that this legal case is about compensation. It's more about showing the world how the Croatians behaved during WW2. This has the potential to do more serious damage to Croatia than most think. It will reveal to the world what Croats have done and show that little has changed since WW2.

In the end Croats would be more than willing to settle the matter quietly rather than drag it on through the legal system, but as I said this is not about money.

So, someone posts a link to a biased video called something like the "land where war criminals are heroes". This is stupid. In every land, war criminals are heroes. Remember, everyone's war criminal is someone else's hero. To some, Napoleon is a hero, to others a war criminal. To some, George Washington is a hero, to others a war criminal. You see, this type of stupid posting of biased nonsense does nothing but perpetuate hatred. We know that Croatia was guilty of war crimes in WWII. Yes, it was long ago, but one can still file a law suit against them since they have not adequately paid for their war crimes and retribution is needed. People are still suffering from the aftereffects of their crimes. Look at how many Jews are still suffering from what Hitler did. Should they just forget? African Americans are still seeking compensation for slavery and that occurred far longer ago than WWII. Time does not heal wounds.

"The plaintiffs claim that Croatia is responsible for paying as NDH's legal heir."

Sadly, the time to make this claim was over 70 years ago. But Serbs did not make it after World War II because most of them accepted Titoism in all its forms.

Tito was ruthless towards his Croatian opponents, but as far as WWII goes, the story is that the communists were the only anti-fascist resistance group while the Chetniks and Ustashe roughly killed the same amount of civilians. Thus, equalizing the Serbian people's involvement in WWII with the Croats (i.e. both nations collaborated unless they were communists).

Both of those assertions are wrong. The Chetniks were royalists and anti-fascists whose leader was awarded medals by the Polish resistance, Charles De Gaulle, & Harry Truman. The NDH killed several hundred thousand Serbs, Jews, Roma and (only) anti-Nazi Croats & Bosniaks.

However the time for NDH victims to receive material compensation has passed and Serbs from the entire region have only themselves to blame for accepting communist revision. What's left now is that Serbia begins educating the world on Jasenovac, Jadovno, Stara Gradiska, Kozare and the over 20+ more concentration camps in the NDH from 1941-45.

This lawsuit would make more sense if the second failed yugo experiment never happened. People here actually believe croats, thousands of innocent ones on top of the guilty ones, were not punished or killed in great enough numbers by communists. No wonder they don't want to share a country with people who deny them their identity and the fact that they already paid an agreed upon price. It's only not enough for Serbia because they see Jewish, black lives matter, feminists, and all these groups getting their "fair share" of victim sympathy and pats pats on the back. This lawsuit is purely political and just an attempt to increase the discussion, because even after all the Serbian trolls gaslighting of the internet, NOBODY is interested in hearing about Serbian victims from 8 f***** decades ago. The reason icj doesn't answer this question (one I've of him/her many times) is that it contradicts his/her narrative of Serbs. icj has never let facts get in the way of his/her hatred of the Serbs. icj is well-versed in telling half of the story in an effort to mislead the unknowing reader.

Serbs are lazy and now need to actually work for a living which they never have and won't do. Next best thing is to bring on a frithalous lawsuit that has no bearing.

There already is an ongoing process for return of the Ustasha Treasury from the Vatican which sponsored the Ustasha after WW2: https://inserbia.info/today/2015/02/canon-law-petition-to-pope-by-holocaust-survivors/

From Azir: "The truth is never " HATE"..."

HAHAHA! This comment comes from an individual who advocates concentration camps for Serbs! Appalling!

Right mate?

So when when mentioning Yugoslavia signing the non-aggression pact with Nazi Germany do you fail to mention that mere hours later, that government was overthrown by the Serbian people and torn up.

Great book was written on this subject by Neil Balfour https://www.amazon.co.uk/Paul-Yugoslavia-Neil-Balfour/dp/0241103924

you (icj1, the CB of B92) are slightly more educated than your savage Neanderthals.
(Ari Gold, 14 March 2017 20:43)
----

Dear Mr.

PS CB = Chief Bigot
