Excatly. And there are almost 2 million albanians in Kosovo and none of them likes or wants to have anything to do with serbs. Serbs still think that they can do the same thing as in the late 90s but everything has changed now. We have been recongnized by 111 Un members and still growing, serbia has no authority or control over us. They are powerless. We are an independent state and country and neither god or the devil can change that. If they try to attack this time a world war 3 will erupt. Kosovo is a closed chapter for the serbs. Its albanian and belongs to albanians. The end!

I empathize with the people of Serbia on this one. Kosovo is an important part of your history. There are important monasteries and churches there. More important than monasteries there are Serbian people there. The government of Serbia believes that they are helping people with allegiance to Beograd.

One thing I've never heard explained is how Beograd plans to integrate a million Albanians in Kosovo with the perceptions they have about Serbia. They will see through propaganda, they will see through offers of autonomy. What is the point of clinging to a region that has a million people who will never recognize your leadership?

This just a very honest message to B92 commentators and readers that there isn't the slightest chance for Serbia to join the EU without formally recognising the Kosovo independence, I repeat not the slightest chance. I am not a gambler but I would definetely gamble on that. Whoever tells otherwise is trying to score politically and for personal gains. Nazdrowi😊

Let's hope Vucic is wrong,that institution has nothing to recommend it and ultimately will result in just further demands to recognize and surrender Kosovo,and what's even worse basically alter all cultural behaviors they feel are unbecoming, till Serbians are clones of the rest of those idiotic sheep. The EU incompatible with diversity,freedom,and the survival of the Serb and other nations. If the British don't want it,and they've been in it long enough to know,why should we?? There's dissent already in Croatia,where they have a very interesting young politician,Ivan Pernar, who appears not to be the usual deranged nationalist but is a patriot who sees the folly of the EU pathway and it's negative consequences on his country.Wish someone like him existed in Serbia!

The only path forward that Kosovo Albanians and Serbs would ever mutually agree upon is EU membership. Once both countries are EU members there will no longer be a border, Serbs and Albanians can move freely through what was once Yugoslavia. Beograd can even send a train to Kosovo that reads "Kosovo is Europe"

Everybody knows you can't join EU without resolving your border questions. By the way Serbia has and might have border questions with all its neighbors. Plus, EU has learned a very big lesson when it allowed Cyprus join its ranks without resolving everything.

Vucic, the EU and Nato are the death of the nation state, they are globalist creations who only exist to extinguish nation states, borders, languages and a national consciousness. To see this you only need to look at the refugee waves from the middle east and Africa that are presently destroying western European countries. Only eastern Europeans have moved to protect themselves from this destructive policy emanating with Angela Merkel. The Serbian people instinctively know that NATO is their enemy not friend. If you want to preserve Serbia and assure prosperity for the Serbian people you will find that only in the east not the corrupt, decadent west.
