Please don't mix the cocktail - those are different strories. Neo-Ottomanism of Erdogan and your antagonism both contradict the multiple documents availiable. For centuries that the Ottomans existed (1453-1918) they were very different. Serbs were a priviledged ethnos before 1826 when the Orthodox Yanissary were massacred and Tanzimat period when Caucasians and Kurds dominated started. Early Ottomans spoke only Rus and Slovenski + Tatar that all Rus peoples spoke. They were prolongation of the Byzantine because they were Rus Padishahs (Sultans) and you can see the famous icon of the Greek Patriarch Gennadius with Mehmet II Yavyz. Both were Orthodox.

Armenians is a different and a very long story. At least because they call themselves Haes people while the historical Armenia (Dream Land) was somewhere between Hungary and France.

Imperial mentallity never dies. Look at Russia, Germany, Britain, France ... and Serbia. Memories of even a small empire lives long. Empire's elites keep on fighting even after the empire is ruined. Well my little Albo friend I was in Serbia last year and went to Albania, Kosovo and Turkey so I can tell you which century they live in. In Serbia I never once saw villagers ploughing with oxen or horses, which is a very common activity in both Turkey and Albania.
As a rising economic star of Eurasia Turkey’s villagers live still using implements that were last seen over 100 years ago elsewhere.

Do you ever wonder what you will say to God on the judgment day when he asks you why you kept calling a Serb an Albanian? Do you really think your excuses will hold any water with the Almighty?
