Sorry disappoint you but I have read a lot about the topic and no, Albanians did not marry Turks, till today Albanians find difficulties marry a non Albania and all know that. But of couse there were rapes like in all the Balkan.
According to the facts just Greeks married Turks without problem, and in to many cases even Serbs. There were Turkish colonies in Greece and in Sandjak (Sancak) Serbia - which in Turkish mean “the flag”, not a single one in Albanian inhabited areas.

The first documented mosque in the world belongs to 1572 when the "French" map of Constantinople was made. I saw the map that looks rather like a picture and there were 3 mosques and plenty of churches on it. Most likely all 3 mosques were former churches too. Because at the time the Ottomans were part of Christianity. But then they needed a separate religion so the theology concept of Mehmet II (Prophet Mohammad) was revived. I saw an interesting British documentary recently about the “Ottomans”. And I was surprised knowing that from all the sultans which ruled the Ottoman empire , just two of them were of Turkish origin.
None of the sultans which ruled the Ottoman Empire, never visited “Meca”.
And of course there were Orthodox Turks. The Muslim religion in Turkey came from M.East. There are still Orthodox churches in Turkey.

The first documented mosque in the world belongs to 1572 when the "French" map of Constantinople was made. I saw the map that looks rather like a picture and there were 3 mosques and plenty of churches on it. Most likely all 3 mosques were former churches too. Because at the time the Ottomans were part of Christianity. But then they needed a separate religion so the theology concept of Mehmet II (Prophet Mohammad) was revived. Thus before late 16 century there were no formal Muslims yet. If you disagree please show me a single mosque built earlier than 1572.

I saw an interesting British documentary recently about the “Ottomans”. And I was surprised knowing that from all the sultans which ruled the Ottoman empire , just two of them were of Turkish origin.
None of the sultans which ruled the Ottoman Empire, never visited “Meca”.
And of course there were Orthodox Turks. The Muslim religion in Turkey came from M.East. There are still Orthodox churches in Turkey.
Why you are surprised? Maybe you don’t know well the history, and you should read more besides Serbian sources.

They make ally with Greeks to not permit Albanian Ortodokx use Albanian. FACT!Many churches in Albania even thought were build by Albanians, designed by Albanians, are written in Greek, because is the only language which was allowed, most probably the same even for the churches in Kosovo.
