ZSO should be formed "by Serbs, not by Albanian politicians"

The Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) should be formed by the Kosovo Serbs pursuant to the Brussels Agreement, and not by ethnic Albanian politicians.

LOL

Serbs are NOT 8% of the population of Kosova. Bosniak,Gorani,Turk and Roma are larger than the entire serb community.

Watcher

All bark no action. Serbian army can't do anything unless they are prepared to face Nato armies that would destroy them in seconds. Remember Serbia is surronded by Nato allies all around them. Now that Kosovo will have it's own army there will be no more civilians with guns like it was in 1999. It will be much diffrent now. We will be prepared this time

I agree completely that Serbs should form the ZSO. That is, Kosovo Serbs (which should include displaced Kosovo Serbs). Vucic does not have the same stake in Kosovo that Serbs in Kosovo have.

European Charter of Local Self-Government

The Charter commits the ratifying member states to guaranteeing the political, administrative and financial independence of local authorities. It provides that the principle of local self-government shall be recognised in domestic legislation and, where practicable, in the constitution. Local authorities are to be elected by universal suffrage, and it is the earliest legal instrument to set out the principle of subsidiarity.

Local authorities, acting within the limits of the law, are to be able to regulate and manage a substantial share of public affairs under their own responsibility in the interests of the local population.

So again you should do some research before just concluding, under the limits of the law (Kosovo Law) which means Serbs can play under the rules of Kosovo law what ever that is.

If Parlament gives them Autonomy sure why not my call nor yours. Rules are set by Kosovo Law then you can play inside those rules and given your authorities based on that law. Look if Serbs like Kosovo law when it comes to Kosovo not being able to create Army without minoraties voting for it, so it should be as per this.

And last point I did not use the the charter as charter says to refer to the Kosovo law in this case hence my point.

But if you are happy then thats what counts its all about perception in the end, who would have thought Serbs would be happy with Autonomy in Kosovo!!!

This zso crap it's trouble in the region. Serbs are used to this life style, look at them in Bosnia with RS, problems with Montenegro about NATO , recently problems with Macedonian unesco vote etc. Kosovo vote no to zco crap, create your army , and kick their asses . Serbs understand only one language .🔥

As it says in Accordance to Kosovo Law - what ever the law set by the Parlament then it must be and as long as it does not obstruct the Kosovo Constitution.
(cuarteador, 8 February 2017 21:32)

Dude seriously. Try using the information you quote directly. It says "In accordance with the competences given by the European Charter of Local Self Government and Kosovo law", which means that "Kosovo law" needs to be in accordance with the European Charter of Local Self Government, which is a nice way of saying "autonomy". Don't know why this is so difficult for Albanians to understand. "Kosovo law" must conform to principles set up by the EU, and since "Kosovo law" was designed by European officials, "Kosovo law" MUST allow for sweeping minority rights for Serbs.

So yes, "Kosovo law" allows for ZSO. That's how all autonomous bodies work. And in Kosovo's case, "Kosovo law" allows for a lot of competencies for ZSO.

Thanks in advance ;)

You can't do anything on your own without the international community saying so. You can't even get into the UN without a visitor pass so spare me the alternative facts about powers you think you have. If you're trying to sound tough, try not to end up sounding like an idiot.
(LOL, 8 February 2017 20:35)

And Serb leaders can not get in Kosovo without visitor pass from Pristina...You can not stop Kosovo going to UN without international community ie Russia :) so think about how tough you are.

But again Inat is keeping u here, most of churches and Serbs live south of Ibar and all you are fighting is to save face and keep north....So you go to international comunity as much as kosovo does.

From the agreement You SIGNED as 5:0:
4. In accordance with the competences given by the European Charter of Local Self Government and Kosovo law the participating municipalities shall be entitled to cooperate in exercising their powers through the Community/Association collectively. The Association/Community will have full overview of the areas of economic development, education, health, urban and rural planning.
5. The Association/Community will exercise other additional competences as may be delegated by the central authorities,
-----------
As it says in Accordance to Kosovo Law - what ever the law set by the Parlament then it must be and as long as it does not obstruct the Kosovo Constitution.

We can be here beating chest saying you do not care about Kosovo Law, remember this is your 5:0 negotiation skills so please respect it. It is true association must be created but the law it operates is Kosovo Law which you have told us was best deal you can get.

So as Kosovo Parlament is made of Majority Albanians like it or not this must be done with help of Albanians it does not say Serbs will do as they please and follow Djuric interpretation, not Vucic nor as per Oral agreed law but Kosovo Law why did u agree to it.

That which we can read you can not spin!!! as per agreed in air those are non-binding.

LOL dude seriously? First, Serbs are at least 8% of the population, not 1. You're confusing them with Ashkali and/or Egyptians. Second, even if they were 1% of the population, the EU, the US, the UN, and the rest of the civilized world have mandated the creation of ZSO that your government agreed to back in 2013.

You can't do anything on your own without the international community saying so. You can't even get into the UN without a visitor pass so spare me the alternative facts about powers you think you have. If you're trying to sound tough, try not to end up sounding like an idiot.

@ Francis - You are speaking and behaving the exact way you accuse the Srbs of speaking and behaving before/during the Kosovo crisis. Now you are the "Srb":) You remember how the Albanians were scared and didn't want to live under "Serbian" rule anymore? Well, now that you're in "control", if you don't show Beograd that you're capable of different than what they did, all that will be for nothing...NATO (Jean S.) warned Thaci/Mustafa...Serbian Army will CRUSH you within hours!! Now, granted, the world response would be questionable and who knows what that would trigger...but have no doubt, you would be CRUSHED!! "guns & ammo"?..you gotta be kidding! Srbs wouldn't make the same mistake twice!! Do not interperet that this is what I want or desire, far be it from that...but seems other people have to do the thinking for you since you obviously won't...or can't!
