Yeah I know the Russians are starving and Russia is a banana republic and its broke. If I have missed out on anything please feel free to add on.
The EU is screwed big time. Its like the US in deep doo doo. The US is 400% of GDP in debt, its military is running on empty since they are operating old equipment that should have been replaced years ago. The air force is cannibalising aircraft to keep fighters up in the air while at least 2/3 of Navy aircraft are inoperable due to lack of cash to make repairs.
To give you a hint on how things are going in the EU economy, Brussels was supposed to stop printing euors next month, but they have now extended it to December 2017.
I hate to burst your bubble, but Moscow is a coming to the Balkans ready or not. It all to do with power mate. Look south stream is back on track after all that huffing and puffing because the EU is dead without Russian energy.
Actually the majority of Serbs have no interest in joining the EU. That’s just government spin nothing more. These surveys are laughable. It’s the Albanians who think there is a pot of gold under every bush that are salivating at the thought of joining.

Trump has more pressing problems at hand starting with the US massive debt and the current state of infrastructure and poor standing of its military. Having said that Russia is more than just interested in the Balkans since they see as of vital importance.

As far as the EU aka Germany keeping anyone out, they are in for a fun time trying. The Russians are coming and no one is going to stop them. South stream is back and construction has recommenced. How the times are changing.

Was this intentionally left out? Personally I think it will be 20-25 years without a single new member in the EU. So the Balkan countries don't have to worry too much in the near future.

Two things. Firstly, when a US president isn't interested in his own neighbours it's no surprise that small countries thousands of miles away fail to pique his interest. Secondly, I find myself, an Englishman, standing up for Germany. They have poured tens of millions of Euros into the Balkans and if people there (and in the UK for that matter) copied their work ethic we would all be better off.

You must get a education in history ,Serbia was victories in World War 1 and 2.
As well , majority of Balkan wars in the 1800's.

No problems my friend ! In 1944 when the Soviet Army reached Yugoslavia the Germans and their allies controlled about 10% of the territory including Belgrade. Should they have an experience and ammunition for seizinf such a big city who knows they could leave theSoviets jobless. As you must know together with their Montenegrin branch Serbs made up to 90% of the two Yugoslavian armies. Outside Yugoslavia the partizans were in Greece and a bit in Albania. So during WW2 the partisan movement on the Balkans in a great degree was a Serbian movement. Then the Romanians and the Bulgarians joined us in 1944. But before that for the long 3 years the USSR had no brothers in arms other than the 2 Serbian armies. They suffered second big combat losses after the USSR. Europe hates us because their fathers and granfathers were defeated by the Serbs/Russians. The US coalition joined us only 11 months before WW2 was ended. Since March 1945 the Hitlerists stopped to resist in the west and sent all survived troops to the eastern front. So the allies drived along the autobans while the Soviets crawled on their bellies. Anyways Serbs set their Yugoslavia free by themselves. Write it on your nose. It saved plenty of our lives. Combat losses of the USSR in Poland exceeded 600 000 while in Yugoslavia it was 7900 ...

It's true. America does not care anymore.

And as a result, the balance of power in the region simply returns back to its historical norm.

If you think Germany will now become muscular in the region and fill the void, then you are not aware of the spirit of the times. Germans don't really car either.

Serbia has a great opportunity to become responsible and a real leader in the region. I hope it puts its best foot forward and steps up to the plate.

I won’t wade through history, but will only mention the battles of Kolubara and Cer where Serbs defeated the Austrians which is a considerable feat when taking into account that such a small army defeated an Empire. If Germany and allies had not come in on the side of Austria, the Empire would have collapsed there and then.
German Field Marshal Anton Ludwig August von Mackensen was in command of Germany’s Eleventh Army, Austro-Hungarian Third Army, and Bulgarian First Army and tasked with the taking Belgrade and he did not take it easily, but seer numbers meant Belgrade fell.
Upon entering it, Field Marshal Mackensen erected a monument to the Serbian soldiers who died defending their capital with the inscription -HIER RUHEN SERBISCHE HELDEN- - "Here rest Serbian heroes", both in German and Serbian. It says a lot when your enemy does that. That monument is still in Belgrade and located in Topcidar Park.

Europe hates us because their fathers and granfathers were defeated by the Serbs/Russians. The US coalition joined us only 11 months before WW2 was ended. Since March 1945 the Hitlerists stopped to resist in the west and sent all survived troops to the eastern front. So the allies drived along the autobans while the Soviets crawled on their bellies. Anyways Serbs set their Yugoslavia free by themselves. Write it on your nose. It saved plenty of our lives. Combat losses of the USSR in Poland exceeded 600 000 while in Yugoslavia it was 7900 ...

All I am politely asking, name only ONE war that regular SRB ARMY vs ANY REGULAR ARMY of another country, that Srps had victory, without OUTSIDE interface.

I won’t wade through history, but will only mention the battles of Kolubara and Cer where Serbs defeated the Austrians which is a considerable feat when taking into account that such a small army defeated an Empire. If Germany and allies had not come in on the side of Austria, the Empire would have collapsed there and then.
German Field Marshal Anton Ludwig August von Mackensen was in command of Germany’s Eleventh Army, Austro-Hungarian Third Army, and Bulgarian First Army and tasked with the taking Belgrade and he did not take it easily, but seer numbers meant Belgrade fell.
Upon entering it, Field Marshal Mackensen erected a monument to the Serbian soldiers who died defending their capital with the inscription -HIER RUHEN SERBISCHE HELDEN- - "Here rest Serbian heroes", both in German and Serbian. It says a lot when your enemy does that. That monument is still in Belgrade and located in Topcidar Park.

Then it required , Ottoman Empire , Bulgaria and Austria-Hungary Empire to attack again in 1915,small Serbia.

I don't think it will be a pleasant surprise at all, more of a shock to the system.

It's true. America does not care anymore.

And as a result, the balance of power in the region simply returns back to its historical norm.

If you think Germany will now become muscular in the region and fill the void, then you are not aware of the spirit of the times. Germans don't really car either.

Serbia has a great opportunity to become responsible and a real leader in the region. I hope it puts its best foot forward and steps up to the plate.

To Delon,
You must get a education in history ,Serbia was victories in World War 1 and 2.
As well , majority of Balkan wars in the 1800's.
Serbia ,threw out Ottoman Empire ,Nazi Germany ,Austria -Hungaria Empire , Bulgarian , and even the British (1948,Trieste)out of Yugoslavia.
Delon,you are very uneducated in history ,but Australia only teaches about Captain Cook, Hahaha

Does Ulrich Ladurner mention any Balkan countries in particular? How about Romania and Bulgaria, corrupt & mega corrupt EU member states that should never have been let in the first place? It's not as if joining the EU combated poverty there effectively unless you count droves heading to western Europe to work as nannies, cleaner, builders and less salubrious employment.
