Yeah, probably not the best move by Serbia. Ukraine has always supported that Kosovo is a part of Serbia and Serbias territorial integrity. Abstaining from the vote would have been a better option.

Well, I am no enemy of Russia's. In the United States, I work extra hard to push back against Russian demonization and one of the reasons I voted for Trump is his commitment to better relations with Russia. Putin is the world leader that I admire the most (until I see what happens with Trump) and I am staunchly against Serbia joining NATO or putting sanctions on Russia.

I too think that Serbia should have abstained instead of voting against Ukraine. It is obvious that Russia is one of Serbia's closest allies, but Ukraine is no enemy either. As long as Ukraine doesn't recognize fake state of 'kosovo*' then Serbia has no reason to spoil relations with this country. Obviously the spat between Russia and Ukraine is bad, but Serbia needs to look out for its own interests. Regardless, Serbia needs to uphold the principle of territorial integrity and not recognize Crimea's annexation, despite the fact that its obvious that Crimea is now Russian.

When were you last in Romania because what you describe I did not see there. That 360 Euros salary is a government funded myth much like the level of unemployment in the US which has now "dropped" to 4.9% which is pure BS.
Last year I spent time in Romania and Bulgaria and from what I saw they were worse than Serbia, but at least Serbia has an excuse as its been through some of the worst sanctions in history and its economy was destroyed.

Russia calculated that supporting the referendum in Montenegro will grant them a permanent ally in Djukanovic (a miscalculation that was). So the Russian government calculates.

If the opposition, now ruling party, would have any respect of law and democracy, they would have waited for next elections and improve their elections campaign...please re-evaluate Your "colleagues" and "sponsors" behaviour before judging the position of Serbia. People like Djindic and Djukanovic were free to undermine us from inside and boycot every attempt to help you. Besides it was inpossible to realize the plans as all your neighbors refused to give us a corridor. It was the period when we could not find troops to fight in Chechnia. Yet we never traded our relations like you do. We've spoiled relations with the USA because of you but we weren't prostitutes. Everything we do today in Montenegro is aimed to remove Djukanovic and we will succeed this time with Turkey's aid. It will give us a corridor to the trapped Serbia. If in the sieged Moscow of 1941 someone would say anything against our allies in the West he would be shot down right in the street. But you permanently trade yourself - here we are interested and there we have a better offer. It harms more Serbia than Russia and it explains why our relations are still at a such low level. Because before late 2016 your government also behaved like a prostitute. We must clean ourselves from people like you and be open inside. Then nothing and nobody will cope with us from oputside. We need unconditional love like that of Dragoljub Djurkovic to help you in a wide scale. Otherwise we can only be partners the way you like it ...

Let me start with Croatia first. If Croatia has 600 per month it would not have lost about 50,000 well educated people this year because there are no jobs in that country. If the Greeks had 600 per month there would not be rioting regularly nor would the Greek Government be cutting pensions and anything they could get their hands on.
As far as laws are concerned, Serbia, as part of its EU entry obligations, has passed a library full of laws but who actually abides by them? In Romania the Government can declare that the monthly wage is 1000 but when people look for work and the employer tells them he can only pay 200, what happens? People walk away refusing a job? No they don’t. The Government ignores that this is going on, but on paper you have 330.
If governments publish unemployment figures and they are BS, why do you think that these same governments would not BS about monthly salaries?

Oh, can it be like that? Serbia is sitting between the chairs: They must lick Putin's boot because otherwise Russia could stop vetoing an UN membership of Kosovo, on the other hand, they know well that it's schizophrenic to silently accept the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia (against Ukrainian constitution and laws) while fighting against the 'independent Kosovo' (which is against Serbian constitution and laws).
