State and local authority workers will launch a four-hour warning strike today. Union officials will try and reach an agreement with the government to end the protest, according to Union President Njegos Potezica. Citizens will not be able to file or receive any personal information during the four hour strike since all municipal windows will be shut down for the duration. The union wants a special collective agreement to be signed, and a 50 percent coefficient correction bringing them on equal terms with public service employees. They also want a change to the Law on Public Sector Salaries, and the payment of incentive bonuses of RSD 5000 (EUR 62).
