PM discusses migrant crisis with German ambassador
The migrants in questioncome from Middle Eastern, Asian, and African countries, and are passing through the Balkans, including Serbia, in a bid to reach western Europe.
Dittmann "praised the positive signal sent by the government of Serbia" and offered "German assistance in assessing the needs for building the reception center."
The forthcoming conference on the Western Balkans, which will be held in Vienna on August 27, was also discussed during the meeting today.
Dittmann said that the conference would be "a good opportunity to present concrete infrastructural projects" and added he hoped that on this occasion some of the the proposals initiated by Vucic, would be realized.
On the occasion of the forthcoming round of talks between Belgrade and Pristina, Vucic and Dittmann "agreed that the talks will be difficult" but said they "hoped for progress in negotiations."
