Mobilkom sues Kosovo’s TRA

Mobilkom’s legal representative Bejtus Isufi said the suit was based on the complaint filed with the TRA several days earlier, citing irregular tender procedure during the process to issue the second mobile telephony license in the UN-administered Serbian province.

Kosmocell, a company that won the tender but lost its license due to a delay in the payment of EUR 81mn, has also announced a lawsuit against the TRA. UNMIK officials refused to comment on the charges.

Slovenian Telekom enters Kosovo

Telekom Slovenija, along with Ipko Net, has officially become the second mobile telephony operator in Kosovo.

Telekom Slovenija has fulfilled all the conditions set by the competition to win the license. Apart from the EUR 75mn in concession fees, Telekom Slovenija will through Ipko Net invest further EUR 120 in the construction of the mobile telephony network in the province.
