Iran will reject Trump's ceasefire proposal

Iran&rsquo;s state news agency FARS, citing what it described as an informed source, said that U.S. efforts to implement a ceasefire and launch indirect talks with Iran have intensified, in an attempt to end the war that began on February 28 with U.S. and Israeli strikes on the Islamic Republic.&ldquo;Iran does not accept a ceasefire,&rdquo; the source told FARS, according to a translation of the interview published on the outlet&rsquo;s Telegram page.&ldquo;In principle, it is not logical to enter such a process with those who violate agreements,&rdquo; the source added.The source also told FARS that Iran intends to achieve its strategic objectives in the war, and only once that is done would there be a possibility of ending the conflict, the agency reported.Earlier today, the Associated Press reported that Iran had received a 15-point peace plan from U.S. President Donald Trump.Trump said on Tuesday that the United States and Iran are currently in talks. However, Iran has denied that any negotiations are taking place.
