Ali Khamenei's Funeral: Up to 20 million mourners expected; Six-day ceremony across five cities

The funeral will last six days and take place across five cities, including locations in neighboring Iraq, officials announced. The ceremonies will begin on Saturday, when Khamenei&#39;s body will lie in state at the Grand Mosalla prayer complex in Tehran. The proceedings will continue through Monday with a funeral procession through the streets of the Iranian capital, Al Jazeera reported.On July 7, the funeral procession will move to the holy city of Qom before continuing to the Iraqi cities of Najaf and Karbala.Khamenei&#39;s body will then be returned to Iran for burial in his hometown of Mashhad on July 9. To support the effort, 16 mobile bakeries have been deployed across Tehran and its surrounding areas.
