Vučić in Munich – important meetings with Costa and Kos expected; participating in a security conference

During the event, Vučić will hold a series of bilateral meetings with global and European officials, including Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, European Council President Ant&oacute;nio Costa, and EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Marta Kos.He is also scheduled to meet with a delegation of U.S. senators led by Senator Jeanne Shaheen.&ldquo;This Munich conference will be interesting because we will hear from Americans, Chinese, Friedrich Merz, Emmanuel Macron, and meet with many of them. I will meet with Wang Yi and Ant&oacute;nio Costa,&rdquo; Vučić told reporters in Ankara yesterday after his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.&ldquo;What I enjoy most is taking my notebook, writing things down, reviewing them, calculating what will happen, and finding the best positions for Serbia,&rdquo; Vučić added.When asked about his expectations for this year&rsquo;s Munich Security Conference and the key messages, Vučić said the conference will more clearly reveal the divisions between Europe and the U.S., compared to what was seen recently at the World Economic Forum in Davos.&ldquo;I believe the rift between Europe and the United States will be even clearer, despite all the nostalgic pledges of brotherhood between America and Europe. Essentially, I think this rift will be deeper, wider, and larger than it was in Davos; everything else will be incidental,&rdquo; Vučić said.He also noted that Europe did not awaken because of Russian President Vladimir Putin, as was once claimed, but because of U.S. President Donald Trump.&ldquo;Whether it is too late or not, we will see,&rdquo; Vučić added.He said he faces two intense days with many meetings at the conference, where he will hear, learn, see, and draw conclusions about the future.Vučić also announced a visit to India, returning on February 20, after which he will travel around Serbia on February 21&ndash;22, spending up to two days in each location.&ldquo;I am thinking of eastern Serbia, but don&rsquo;t hold me to that.
