“Citizens absolutely have no reason to worry, which does not mean that we, who are in the government, at the head of the state, are not concerned. We are concerned — about resolving this problem we have found ourselves in, through no fault of our own, a problem that is the result of an ongoing geopolitical war. We have been caught in the whirlwind of it.What citizens need to know is that there is no need to panic. We have been preparing and working hard, continuously increasing our reserves, our state reserves. Over the past three years alone, we have added 70,600 tons of Euro diesel in our storage facilities, which is significant because diesel is the most consumed fuel, making up two-thirds of fuel use, followed by gasoline. We have been preparing so that, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, we can have enough oil and petroleum products on the market. New diesel deliveries of 35,000 tons, as well as 5,300 tons of kerosene, are expected in December. This is important for our airplanes. We are also actively renewing supplies in Ledinci, where we primarily store diesel — about 40,000 tons. We have converted these warehouses into bonded storage to ensure proper management,” the minister said.
