Serbia, playing as the away team, defeated Andorra 3-1 and stayed alive in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.“The injury came from a duel, a blow off the ball. Today there could have been 2-3 penalties. I’ve played in the Premier League, but today it was wrestling, judo… A tough match. We turned the game around, earned three points, and stayed alive,” Mitrović said after the match in Andorra.According to him, what mattered was how the team responded to the defeat against Albania (0-1).“Unity and atmosphere were never a problem. The painful defeat is behind us, but the team reacted positively. It was tough; we hope Albania slips… I’d like to praise Bata and his team, they did a fantastic job. We didn’t have much time, but we made the most of it. As long as there’s hope, we’ll fight. We’ll give everything, I believe in miracles. We were in a similar situation with Portugal, so why not again?” Mitrović added.
