The handover of duties of the KFOR commander will be held at the "Film City" camp in Pristina, KFOR announced.The ceremony will be presided over by the commander of NATO's Joint Forces Command in Naples, Admiral Stuart B. Munsch.Ulutaş was already at the head of KFOR before Barduani, from October 2023 to October 2024.

On October 3, Turkish Major General Ozkan Ulutaş will take over command of KFOR from Italian General Enrico Barduani.
