The first penetration will already affect the northwest of Vojvodina in the morning and before noon, from the middle of the day it will cause showers and thunderstorms throughout the province, as well as in western and central Serbia with a tendency to move to the east, while showers will be more pronounced in places near the city, and moderate and strong southerly and southwesterly winds will turn to the northwest during the day, while in the area of heavy showers, storm surges are expected.Temperatures will range from 16 to 28 degrees in the northwest of Vojvodina and up to 39 degrees in the southeast of Serbia.The second penetration of moist and unstable air is expected during the night and will spread from the southwest of Serbia across the central regions to the northeast with rain, showers and a significant drop in temperature.In Belgrade, the morning and early afternoon will be mostly sunny and warm weather with increased south and southwest winds, while in the middle of the day and in the afternoon, the temperature is expected to drop with the appearance of showers and thunderstorms.The wind will be northwesterly, short-term and with storm force gusts, and the highest daily temperature will be around 34 degrees.Rain and showers are expected again in the second part of the night towards Wednesday, and the temperature will drop significantly.The cooler weather will last until Friday when temperatures are expected to rise again. RHMZ issued weather disaster warning"The showers and thunderstorms, which are expected today in the area of Vojvodina, western and central Serbia, will occasionally be accompanied by hail and stormy or hurricane-like gusts of wind. Emergency warnings will be issued for specific locations one to two hours in advance," the RHMZ stated this morning and added:"Due to the forecasted weather disasters, the RHMZ of Serbia will carry out increased (extraordinary) monitoring of the weather situation. Although the risk is greatest for the area of Vojvodina, western and central Serbia, emergency warnings will be issued for specific locations one to two hours in advance. Caution is advised because in the given conditions disasters can develop very quickly, so regular monitoring of radar images, announcements and warnings is recommended."
