Petkovic told RTS that Kurti is guided by the maxim that &quot;if there is no Serbian people, there are no problems.&quot;&quot;And by shutting down the Serbian institutions that were supposed to represent the base and basis for the formation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities, Kurti wants to say that then there will be no need for the formation of the CSM, which we have been waiting for 12 years and which we insist on in the dialogue, but also in the talks with the EU, that this Community be formed, that someone finally make Kurti fulfill his obligations,&quot; said Petković.He assessed that Kurti has been extra nervous in recent days and months because, as he says, he cannot form a government in Pristina, nor can he constitute the Pristina parliament, and reminded that 20 attempts have been made to constitute that parliament.As he assessed, the attempt to mask the failure in the Kurti elections reflects, first of all, new attacks on the Serbian people in Kosovo, especially in the north, especially through the closure of Serbian institutions, which, as he pointed out, is illegal and contrary to the agreement.Commenting on the fact that Pristina closed the premises of the Red Cross, took over the water supply plant, as well as the children&#39;s sports hall, and that before that the centers for social work were closed, Petković stated that Kurti&#39;s three goals were to close Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija, and above all to expel the presence of the Serbian state from the area of Kosovo and Metohija.According to his opinion, Kurti wants to disenfranchise the Serbian people by pointing out that these are the most important institutions that provide vital services to the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija.&quot;Their imprisonment is automatically related to the issue of basic human rights in Kosovo, which Kurti and the regime in Pristina trample all the time,&quot; said Petković.He pointed out that Kurti&#39;s goal is to politically disenfranchise the Serbian people by trying to shut down the Serb List and recalled Kurti&#39;s statement that a historic opportunity to shut down the Serb List and give space to (Nenad) Ra&scaron;ić and other Serbian parties was missed.&quot;This absolutely confirms what we have been saying all along, that every vote that does not go to the Serb List goes directly to Kurti and that those Serbian parties that Kurti cares about are &#39;name&#39; Serbian parties that do not care about the interests of the Serbian people and Belgrade, but above all about the interests of Pristina,&quot; said Petković.He stressed that Serbia demands that the issue of de-escalation be prioritized as the first item on the agenda in the dialogue, because, as he says, without de-escalation, there are no basic human rights of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.&quot;Without de-escalation, we will have the continuation of terror and the daily intrusion of Albin Kurti and his special agents into Serbian institutions. How can you continue the dialogue, if this is how Kurti behaves and in this way shows what he really thinks about the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. That&#39;s why de-escalation should be number one, that&#39;s why the question of the status quo ante, which implies a return to the previous state, where we have to discuss the issue of our institutions in Kosovo and Metohija and all those issues related to the rights of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija,&quot; Petkovic said.He stated that both the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Policy and Security, Kaja Kallas, mentioned the issue of de-escalation during their visits to Belgrade.He added that it is clear that Kurti is attacking Serbian institutions, especially in the north of AP KiM, because he has the support to do so, recalling the statement of the German ambassador in Pristina, J&ouml;rn Rohde, who demanded that &quot;parallel institutions&quot; be closed.&quot;These are not parastatal institutions, as he says, but they are legal and legitimate institutions of the Republic of Serbia in Kosovo and Metohija, which have existed there for decades. It is good that we finally know who is behind Kurti and all his moves, because it is clear from the very beginning that Kurti himself does not have the strength to implement such a thing,&quot; said Petković.As he says, the problem is that the Western international community has double standards towards Belgrade and Pristina.&quot;All the time, Albin Kurti is pointing fingers at what Pristina is doing, while when it comes to Belgrade, when they say &#39;two sides are equally responsible&#39;, always know that only Pristina is responsible, that we have fulfilled our part of the job. That is, that it is always necessary to punish Serbia and Belgrade, and on the other hand, to reward Kurti,&quot; said Petković.When asked what are Belgrade&#39;s red lines, Petković replied that it is respect for the Constitution of Serbia and stated that Serbia will never give it up while President Aleksandar Vučić is at the head of Serbia.&quot;We will, of course, maintain peace and stability, but Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia and will remain so. That is why Kurti does not like the current government in Belgrade. That is why Kurti supports the protests in Belgrade, hoping that someone would come to the head of Serbia who would fulfill everything that suits Kurti. Our red lines are very clear, and that is that we will never give up on the Serbian people in Kosovo, that we will fight for them,&quot; said Petković.He said that at yesterday&#39;s session of the National Security Council, which was chaired by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the most important state issues and topics that are directly related to the issue of security and the preservation of state and national interests were discussed.As he said, they discussed the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the difficult position of the Republika Srpska, which, he said, was further aggravated by the latest non-paper presented by President Vučić to the National Security Council.&quot;We also talked about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, the extremely difficult situation of our people, the daily attacks of the authorities in Pristina on our people and the unilateral escalating and violent moves of Albin Kurti,&quot; said Petković.
