The leader of Hezbollah agreed to a ceasefire a few days before the murder?

Lebanon's foreign minister claims Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah agreed to a 21-day ceasefire proposed by the US and France just days before Israel killed him in an attack on Beirut.

"Nasrallah agreed, he agreed," Abdallah Bou Habib said in an interview with CNN that was aired last night.

"We agreed completely. Lebanon agreed to a ceasefire, but in agreement with Hezbollah. The Speaker of the Lebanese House of Representatives, Nabih Berri, consulted with Hezbollah and we informed the Americans and the French. And they told us that Netanyahu also agreed with the statement that were announced by both presidents - Biden and Macron," he added.

Habib said that senior advisor to the US president, Amos Hochstein, was supposed to go to Lebanon to negotiate a ceasefire.

"They told us that Netanyahu agreed to it and so we also got Hezbollah's agreement. You know what happened since then," he added.
