A new video released by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) shows an American strike that appears to have hit what looks like empty aircraft bomb casings or similar debris, Clash Report reported.

Analysts geolocated the strike site to the military section of Bushehr Airport in Iran, a city near which Iran’s nuclear power plant is located.

Satellite imagery shows that the empty casings have been present at that location for around 15 years.

Earlier today, CENTCOM announced that it had carried out a new wave of strikes against Iran — the 11th consecutive night of attacks — with the aim of weakening Tehran’s ability to "threaten the passage of commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz."

U.S. forces reportedly targeted "Iranian military operational centers, naval capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities, and military logistics infrastructure," according to Sky News.
