Memorial service held for Edin Avdić PHOTO
A commemoration was held at the “Crowne Plaza” hotel in Belgrade following the death of the legendary sports journalist and commentator Edin Avdić, where final respects were paid by his family members, friends, and colleagues.

Among those present were, in addition to his wife and son, NBA player Nikola Vučević, former national team member Aleksandar Pavlović, Dušan Kecman, and EuroLeague president Dejan Bodiroga.
Avdić was also bid farewell by coaches Dejan Radonjić and Vladimir Jovanović, as well as Luka Pavićević and Aleksandar Trifunović, Mega representative Goran Ćakić, and many colleagues from the journalism profession.
At the commemoration were also well-known sports commentators Darko Plavšić and Ivan Bogunović, while among those present was also Nikola Milojević, the son of the late Dejan Milojević.
A large number of friends, colleagues, and admirers gathered to bid farewell to a man who left a deep mark on sports journalism in the region, and whose voice and commentary will remain permanently remembered among basketball fans.
