Showers, thunder, wind: A huge change in weather is coming - Here's when it will be worst
State Hydrometeorological Institute has published the latest meteorological forecast, which predicts changeable and unstable weather throughout Serbia for today, with occasional showers, thunderstorms and strong winds, especially in some parts of the country.
According to the forecast of RHMZ, in the next two hours in Banat, as well as in parts of Podrinje and Mačva, there will be rain or local showers with thunder. In contrast, central and southern Serbia will enjoy a mostly sunny morning.
During the day, however, a noticeable change will follow. A change in sunny intervals and cloudiness is expected, which will cause rain and showers with thunder in some places. These unfavorable weather conditions will be most pronounced in the afternoon and evening hours, primarily in hilly and mountainous areas.
The wind, which will be weak to moderate in the morning, will significantly increase during the day, especially in northern, central and eastern Serbia, as well as in areas of showers. The west and north-west winds will sometimes reach storm force, especially in Vojvodina and the east of the country, where the strongest gusts are expected.
Despite the unstable weather conditions, the daily temperature will be from 19 to 23 degrees Celsius.
