Police comb through the Prosecutor's Office over leaks in the Vujadin Savić case; Inspectors enter the OJT

At the scene, investigators are examining how a photograph of a computer monitor displaying the interrogation record of a suspect accused of blackmailing Vujadin Savić was leaked to the public and later shared on social media.

Acting on the order of the Special Department for Combating Corruption of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, police are also investigating how information that Vujadin Savić had reported a criminal offense was made public.

The case has attracted significant public attention due to the individuals involved in the blackmail of the victim.

As a reminder, a photo appeared on social media showing a monitor with the statement given by A.K., the suspect accused of blackmailing football player Vujadin Savić.

“In order to determine all the circumstances under which the photograph of the monitor showing the interrogation record of the suspect in the case involving the injured party V.S. was leaked to the public and later shared on social media, as well as the circumstances under which information about the injured party reporting the criminal offense was published,” the prosecutor’s office stated.
