New arrests in the cadastre in Belgrade; The head of the RGZ was arrested
In the continuation of the anti-corruption campaign, arrests are being made at several locations in Belgrade due to fraud with public procurement in the cadastre!

According to information, the head of the RGZ and several other persons were arrested by order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
Members of the UKP - Criminal Police Department conduct searches in several locations.
RGZ: Zero tolerance for corruption
The Republic Geodetic Institute (RGZ) announced today, on the occasion of the arrest of individuals employed in that institute, that the RGZ provides full support and actively cooperates with the police, the prosecutor's office and all relevant institutions in the fight against corruption and crime.
"Anyone who thinks they can use the cadastre for personal or criminal interests must know that such practices are a thing of the past. Zero tolerance for corruption in the RGZ," the announcement states, adding that the RGZ especially thanks the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the Criminal Police Directorate and the prosecutor's office for their professionalism and perseverance.
It is emphasized that the RGZ reform established systems that prevent abuses, through complete digitization, international ISO standards and strict control mechanisms.
"The certification of RGZ according to the global ISO 37001 standard for combating bribery and corruption is not a formality and it guarantees that illegal actions are not only easily detectable, but also prevented in advance. The new systems have brought complete transparency and eliminated the possibility of abuses," the statement reads.
RGZ continues to build an institution based on professionalism, transparency and uncompromising application of the law even more decisively.
In the continuation of the anti-corruption campaign, according to Tanjug, today, by order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, the head of the RGZ and several other persons were arrested for fraud related to public procurement in the cadastre.
