The agenda will include the election of the mayor, deputy mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Novi Sad, the Assembly of Novi Sad announced today.

The session will be held in the Great Hall of the Assembly of the City of Novi Sad at 10 a.m.

On January 28, the previous mayor, Milan Djurić, submitted his irrevocable resignation from the post of mayor of Novi Sad.

"As a responsible man and a responsible politician, I am submitting my irrevocable resignation from the position of mayor of Novi Sad. Stability and calming of tensions and stopping further divisions in society are a key condition for further progress and development of Novi Sad and improvement of the lives of the people of Novi Sad," he said then.
