The largest solar power plant in Serbia connected to the grid

Israel's Nofar Energy Ltd has connected its 27 MW Ada solar power plant in Serbia to the grid, the renewable energy development company announced.

The investment worth 25 million euros (26.2 million dollars) was realized in Ada and consists of two solar parks.

Nofar started the construction of the solar power plant, which is currently the largest in Serbia, with an estimated annual electricity production of 33,150,000 kWh, in May of last year, with the Turkish Girisim Elektrik as the contractor, recall the foreign media that reported this news, reports eKapija.

They also say that the project in Ada has expanded Nofar's global portfolio of solar projects to 2.4 GW, including projects in the construction phase. In addition, the Israeli company has 1.2 GWh of energy storage.
