BELGRADE The Serbian Parliament Committee on Kosovo and Metohija on Thursday called on PM Ivica Dacic to submit his report on the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations. The prime minister has been given two weeks to submit his written report. Committee on Kosovo tells PM to submit report Committee chair Milovan Drecun told reporters that Dacic should also present and explain the document to the members of the committee. According to Drecun, "it is not particularly important" whether this takes place before or after the next round of the EU-sponsored talks in Brussels - which has been scheduled for March 20. According to him, Serbia's top officials will travel to Brussels on March 11 "to present Serbia's firm position that in the negotiations, it cannot go under the line defined in the parliament resolution on Kosovo". This SNS MP also told journalists that "Belgrade has come under pressure to accept solutions that are not in line with the vital national interests", and added that "Belgrade has shown that it would not make the mistake known as 'haste'." Drecun also stated that he expected Brussels "to start influencing Pristina", and that this pressure "would bring results in the negotiations". Beta
