The Poles claim: It's Russian-made VIDEO
President of Poland Andrzej Duda noted that there is no exact proof of who had launched the missile that caused the explosion. The president will also hold a National Security Council meeting tomorrow. He pointed out that the rocket "was most likely Russian-made", according to CNN.
"We are working peacefully on that," said Duda and called for peace in public and assured the people that Poland enjoys the support of NATO allies.
Before President Duda's address, Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman £ukasz Jasina said that a Russian-made rocket was responsible for the death of two people in Poland. "In the village of Przewodów, a Russian-made rocket fell and killed two civilians," he said.
The ministry did not specify what type of rocket it was and where it was fired from.
Jasina added that the ambassador of Russia was invited for a meeting in order to "urgently give detailed explanations" regarding the incident, reports the BBC.
Also, it should be noted that the Polish military expert Jaroslaw Wolski allegedly published photos from the missile landing site in Poland, near Lublin. He suggested that it could be a Russian cruise missile or a Ukrainian air defense missile.
In comments on social networks, users write that the fragment belongs to the S-300 missile, which is in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
