Citizens were informed about today's protest via social networks that they will participate in a "sit-in protest" in order to distinguish themselves from those who came to provoke violence.23:12 During the reporting from the protest, the reporter of TV Prva, Stevan Jovanovic, experienced inconvenience. One of the protesters shouted at the reporter, accusing him of lying and that the protesters did not disperse. Milica Vukic, a reporter from Niš, also had inconveniences during the reporting.

A metal protective fence has been set up around the assembly, and there are no police on that side.
