Albanians fined for "provoking tourists with Albanian flag"
According to Podgorica-based daily Vijesti, quoting eyewitnesses, the Albanian citizens were on their way back from the European football championship in France, when they on Tuesday stopped in Budva. With Albanian flags attached to their car, they proceeded to drive around the town, honking the horn, and heckling passers-by.
Citizens reported this, saying that the car had Albanian flags "pasted onto its hood and trunk."
According to Beta agency, Montenegro's Law on Public Order and Peace "prohibits displaying flags and other symbols of another state."
Other laws "precisely prescribe" the use of national symbols of other states in public places.
