An Italian court has dismissed an indictment against Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Đukanović for cigarette smuggling because he has diplomatic immunity.

An Italian court has dismissed an indictment against Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic for cigarette smuggling because he has diplomatic immunity. According to Montenegrin media, the Anti-Mafia Regional Directorate in Bari recently called for the case against Djukanovic to be closed, but called for charges to be pressed against five other Montenegrin citizens who are suspected of mafia association and involvement in cigarettes smuggling between 1994 and 2002.
