Vučić prepared a ceremonial welcome for the President of Azerbaijan in front of the Palace of Serbia. Vučić welcomed Aliyev with the formation of the Guard of the Serbian Armed Forces, the singing of the anthems of the two countries and the firing of honorary platoon.

In addition to Vučić, Aliyev was also welcomed by members of the Government, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić, Minister of Finance Siniša Mali, Minister of Internal Affairs Bratislav Gašić, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesić, Minister of Agriculture Jelena Tanasković, Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedović, Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, Nikola Selaković. After the ceremonial welcome, a tête-à-tête meeting followed, after which a plenary meeting of the delegations of the two countries will be held.

During the visit of President Aliyev, Serbia and Azerbaijan will sign seven bilateral agreements, and then Vučić and Aliyev will address the media.
