Brnabić on Group G7: "Security Council Resolution doesn't apply only to Serbia" PHOTO
Prime Minister Ana Brnabić stated today that the document from the G7 summit reminds the UN Security Council resolutions as a solution to every problem in the world, except when it comes to Serbia, and that only in the case of Serbia there is no mention of Resolution 1244.Serbian Prime Minister recalled that the members of the G7 group selectively respect the resolutions of the Security Council.
"Trivia: The policy paper from the G7 meeting, as a solution to every problem / crisis in the world, reminds us to respect UN Security Council resolutions. In the case of Libya, full respect for UNSC resolutions 2629, 2571, 2570 and 2292 is required; Syria 2254 and 2118; in the case of Iran 2231, etc.", wrote Ana Brnabić on Twitter. "Only in the case of Serbia, there is no mention of UNSC Resolution 1244. Because everyone from the G7 violated it. This shows the complexity of the situation and the difficulty of the position of Serbia which respects international law and the UN, including basic principles of inviolability of territorial integrity of internationally recognized states".
Brnabic stated that this shows the complexity of the situation and the difficulty of Serbia's position, which respects international law and the UN, including, as she pointed out, "the basic principles of inviolability of the territorial integrity of internationally recognized states."
