US general: Russian Center in Serbia is not humanitarian
Asked whether "the problem" with the RSHC was that it was "very close to (US army base in Kosovo) Bondsteel," Hodges said:"I don't believe it's a humanitarian center. That's the facade, but that's not what it's for."
"That is not what that place is for. They should be a little more transparent, and I would love an invitation to go there and visit," he added.
Asked whether there were any plans for KFOR to leave Kosovo, the US general replied:
"The decision to continue the KFOR mission, that's a decision for the alliance (NATO). For the US army, my part in this, is to provide US army soldiers for the mission. And as far as I can see, my assumption is, at least the next five years. So we have no plans to leave, I am being resourced for at least the next five years."
