Haradinaj threatens to add "one third of Serbia to Kosovo"
Kosovo is Serbia's southern province where ethnic Albanians unilaterally declared independence in 2008. Serbia considers this a violation of its territorial integrity and sovereignty, while the preamble of the country's Constitution states that Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia. In other comments made for TV Rrokum - during a show called Rrokum Rroll - Haradinaj said Serbia's agenda was to "mock Kosovo" while "the EU, and especially the US, should be told that Albanians are not a nation someone can play with and mock."
Another part of the same agenda, he continued, was his detention in France, on a Serbian war crimes warrant.
"Europe is doing nothing on this subject. I am grateful to Berlin, which took a clear position regarding my case, but when it comes to Brussels, this is not fair, because the EU is seen in the Balkans as unable to convince sides to make difficult decisions. America should have reacted and put Serbia in its place," said Haradinaj.
