PM, ambassador discuss Kazakhstan president's visit
"It is a significant indicator of intensifying cooperation between the two countries and an encouragement to Serbian and Kazakhstani companies to be bolder in pursuing business deals," Vucic said.Serbia is very interested in our companies taking part in construction of large residential and business complexes and the infrastructure network in Kazakhstan, and we attach great significance to the possibility of duty-free exports of Serbian-made FIAT cars to the Eurasian Economic Union, Vucic said.
Serbia-Kazakhstan relations are good and without open issues, and Kazakhstan's resolute vote against the so-called Kosovo's UNESCO membership has demonstrated the traditional friendship, Vucic said, thanking Kazakhstan for its principled position on non-recognition of Kosovo's unilaterally declared independence.
Rustemov conveyed to Vucic an invitation to visit Kazakhstan in December to attend the 25th anniversary celebrations of the country's independence.
"President Nazarbayev's delegation will include Kazakhstan's most significant businesspeople and this will be an exceptional opportunity to establish new business ties," Rustemov said.
Due to the need to boost economic ties, Kazakhstan is very interested in a launch of direct flights from Belgrade to Astana, he said.
