Seselj hopes EU will end negotiations over his behavior
"That's my goal, because there are Serbia's enemies in the EU," Seselj told a news conference held at his party's headquarters, Beta reported."My goal is to never allow Serbia to become a member of the EU. There is nothing for us there. All of our enemies are concentrated there. It would definitely ruin us," he said, according to Tanjug.
He reiterated that he would not voluntarily return to The Hague and planned to put up passive resistance in case an attempt is made to arrest him.
"(Prime Minister Aleksandar) Vucic was smarter while he was a member of the SRS, and ask him what he meant when he talked about non-violent arrest. Every arrest represents the use of force, and it may be more or less brutal, but it is always the use of force," said Seselj.
He added that he had had no contact with Vucic or other authorities in connection when it comes to his possible arrest, and that no one has even tried to contact him.
Seselj said that his actions "only revealed the true nature of the relations between Serbia and Croatia that have never been good, honest or friendly and have never been based on trust."
Seselj also announced that he and other senior SRS officials would on Friday gather once again in front of the Palace of Justice, this time to attend a hearing in the process of political rehabilitation of the WW2-era Yugoslav Army in the Homeland General Dragoljub Draza Mihailovic.
