"It is important to find a balance between the decisions which we should make and the consequences they might lead to... No one can get points on the issue of Kosovo, because the situation is bad, and we are almost on lost ground," the prime minister pointed out. He also said that "the next lap time" for Serbia's EU path would be in March. "I would not like us to get back to the 'Kosovo or Europe' issue and I would not like that to be the main topic of our discussion," Dacic said, adding that this requires a balanced policy "that would not pose such a dilemma for Serbia". Ivica Dacic in parliament on Thursday (Beta) "Government that doesn't exist" One of the opposition MPs that had questions for the prime minister today was LDP leader Cedomir Jovanovic, who wished to know "what the goal of the people and the country was", and "what the Kosovo policy looked like". Responding to the criticism of his policy, Dacic stated: "You were promising the people EU membership, yet you let Nikolic, Vucic and Dacic take you to the EU, and much more successfully than you did. I've visited all of Europe, and the world. and I never heard anyone voice regret over the democratic forces (leaving power), because you are no longer the European and democratic forces, that's no longer your monopoly." Jovanovic then inquired when Dacic intended to resign as PM, to which the premier responded that he "had no plans to resign", and described his performance as "responsible, which the citizens will appraise in elections in four years' time". But Jovanovic again wished to know when Dacic would "resign and help the country": "You are president of a government that does not exist in Serbia. I cannot say that makes me happy," said the LDP leader, and added that he thought Dacic should resign because he was heading an institution which had "degraded itself". Jovanovic further described Serbia as "a bad country", and said this was the case because there was "a crisis of management", and went on to ask "who is leading the country: Dacic, or his first deputy, Aleksandar Vucic". The prime minister then advised Jovanovic "to freely raise the no-confidence issue", but also noted that his cabinet enjoyed the support "of more MPs than any other". Beta Tanjug
