Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has confirmed the EU has sent a letter to Serbian authorities asking them to investigate the privatization of over 20 companies. The EU wants the Serbian authorities to determine whether the privatizations were carried out in line with the law and European criteria. EU wants more than 20 privatizations investigated Dacic noted that the letter, received by the Justice Ministry, had already been turned over to the competent state bodies. "The list contains nothing new that has not already been made public or investigated," he said after signing an agreement between the Interior Ministry and the Telenor company on the protection of children on the internet.
