Fiat "not awaiting SAA ratification" Ranieri said that claims that the agreement would not be initialed until Serbia ratified the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) were “completely unfounded”. “The Fiat Group confirms its interest in Zastava and in its work with the Serbian government in line with the agreement that Fiat and the government signed earlier this year,” he insisted. The Fiat director stressed that the claims published in yesterday’s edition of daily Politika, according to which the Italian automotive giant would not put pen to paper until the SAA was ratified, were “completely unfounded” and “pure fantasy”.
